Saudi Cup

The Saudi Cup is an international horse race held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at King Abdulaziz Racetrack. The first edition of the race was held on February 29, 2020, the most valuable horse race ever held.[2] It was won by American horse, Maximum Security, ridden by Luis Saez.

Race Details

The race is notable for its $20,000,000 prize pool,[3] which makes it the most lucrative event in horse racing.[4]

The race is planned to be held four weeks after the Pegasus World Cup and four weeks before the Dubai World Cup, making it possible for horses in those races to compete.[3]
