Lyrics

Lyrics in BosnianEnglish

Zajedno smo rasli
Grade, ja i ti
Isto plavo nebo
Poklonio nam stih
Ispod Trebevića sanjali smo sne
Ko će brže rasti
Ko će ljepši biti

Ti si bio velik
A rodio se ja
S Igmana uz osmijeh
Slao si mi san
Dječak koji raste zavolio te tad
Ostao je ovdje

vezan za svoj grad

Bilo gdje da krenem
O tebi sanjam
Putevi me svi tebi vode
Čekam s nekom čežnjom
Na svjetla tvoja
Sarajevo, ljubavi moja

Pjesme svoje imaš
I ja ih pjevam
Želim da ti kažem šta sanjam
Radosti su moje i sreća tvoja
Sarajevo, ljubavi moja

Kada prođu zime
I dođe lijepi maj
Djevojke su ljepše
Ljubav im daj

Šetališe tamno
Uzdasima zri
Neke oči plave
Neke riječi nježne

Sad je dječak čovjek
A zima pokri brijeg
Park i kosa bijeli
Al' otiće snijeg

Proljeće i mladost
Ispunit' će tad
Sarajevo moje
Jedini moj grad

We have grown together
My city, you and me
The same blue sky
Gifted us a verse
Under Mt. Trebević we've dreamt dreams
Who will grow faster
Who will be more beautiful

You were large
When I was born
From Mt. Igman with a smile
You sent me dreams
A boy growing fell in love with you
He remained here
Tied to his city

Wherever I may go
I dream of you
All the roads lead to you
I'm waiting with the feeling of yearning
For your lights
Sarajevo, my love

You have your songs
And I sing them
I want to tell you my dreams
The joy is mine and happiness is yours
Sarajevo, my love

When the winter passes
And beautiful May arrives
The girls are more beautiful
Give them love

The dark promenade
Matures with sighs
Some blue eyes
Some soft words

Now the boy is a man
The winter covers the mountains
The park and hair are white
But the snow will fade

Spring and youth
Will fill up
My Sarajevo
My only city

gollark: On all the maths exams I do, we have calculators.
gollark: You don't have to prove it. The unfortunate target of this problem will just assume it.
gollark: Actually, that's still weird, it doesn't look like it converges on some value.
gollark: Oh, minus infinity.
gollark: ???
