Sanjeev Mohapatra

Sanjeev Mohapatra is an Indian Cinematographer (director of photography). He has directed many films, serials and ads. His Film THE SILENT STATUE was selected in Festival Corner - (Festival de Cannes ) [1] in 2016. His films Swayamsiddha (A Girl on Red Corridor) and Courtroom Nautanki received positive reviews at Indian Panorama.

Career

Sanjeev Mohapatra was born at Dhenkanal, Odisha, as the eldest son of Sudarshon Mohapatra and Labanyabati Mohapatra. He completed his education in Navodaya Vidyalaya Hadagarh, Keonjhar and Odisha. Then he moved to the Film and Television Institute to complete his professional qualification on cinematography. After completing the course he moved to Mumbai and started his career as a cinematographer.

Personal life

Mohapatra married Rashmi Rekha Mohapatra, managing director of MdFa International. He resides in Mumbai with his only son Omm.
