Sanabi
Sanabi (English: The Grey Pony) is a 1995 Manipuri film directed by Aribam Syam Sharma.[1] It stars Haorongbam Debendro and R.K. Sushila in the lead roles.[2] The film was screened at the International Film Festival of India and Cairo International Film Festival, Egypt.[3] Sanabi also won the Best Feature Film in Manipuri Language at the 43rd National Film Awards.[4] The film is based on M. K. Binodini Devi's short story Sagol Sanabi. She adapted it first into a radio play under the title Shriban Chinggolgi Tamnalai.

Synopsis
Sakhi is a divorcee and a dancer. Her childhood friend Mangi wants to marry her. In order to grab her attention, he steals Sakhi's father's grey pony Sanabi.
