Sabah Theological College

Sabah Theological College (Malay: Maktab Teoloji Sabah or MTS) is a denominational Bible College affiliated with the Sidang Injil Borneo (Borneo Evangelical Church). It is located in Ranau, Sabah, Malaysia [1] and was established in 1965 to train lay leaders.[2]

Programs

MTS offers academic programs in the Malay language leading to the awarding of the following qualifications. It is one of the few theological colleges and seminaries in Malaysia that offers programs in Malay:[1]

  • Certificate in Ministry and Foundation in Theology (Malay: Sijil Pelayanan dan Asas Theologi)
  • Certificate in Theology (Malay: Sijil Theologi)
  • Diploma in Theology (Malay: Diploma Theologi)

Accreditation

MTS is currently seeking accreditation from the Asia Theological Association.[3]
