Macro/Scripting Language

SPF/SE 365 uses a "C" like macro/scripting language.

All versions of SPF have the ability to call any interpreter (PHP, BASIC, Powershell, etc.) from within the editor allowing text processing and OS command calls. SPF/SE does not have the REXX interface that SPF/PC had.

gollark: Python is fairly nice for simple scripting purposes and arguably type-safer a lot of the time.
gollark: Well, depends on usecase, really.
gollark: please use nicer languages, PLEASE.
gollark: Go is generally just highly hostile to abstraction STOP SPREADING IT STOP SPREADING IT
gollark: Yes, but they don't exist yet.
