Sümeyra Kıvanç

Sümeyra Kıvanç (born 30 July 1999) is a Turkish women's football forward currently playing in the Turkish Women's First Football League for Konak Belediyespor in İzmir with jersey number 8. She was a member of the Turkey girls' U-17 and women's U-19 teams.[1]

Playing career

Club

Sümeyra Kıvanç obtained her license from İzmit Belediyespor in Kocaeli Province on 2 November 2011. She played her first league match on 8 December 2013 for Derince Belediyespor in the 2013-14 First League season. She was capped in three games for the team. After staying away from the field one season, she transferred to Kocaeli Harİşspor to play in the Third League. At the end of the season, she enjoyed her team's promotion to the Second League. After scoring 21 goals in 37 matches with Kocaeli Harb-İşspor, she joined the presently formed Kocaeli Bayan FK in the second half of the 2017–18 season to play again in the Third League. Her team finished the season as champion, and was promoted to the Second League. The next season, she moved to İzmir and signed with Konak Belediyespor in the First League.[1]

International

Kıvanç was admitted to the national U-17 team debuting in the 2016 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship qualification - Group 1 match against Andorra on 15 October 2015. She was capped twice for the Turkey U-17 team.[1]

On 9 June 2016, she played for the first time for the women's U-19 team in the 2016 UEFA Development Tournament against Slovenia.[1] The women's U-19 team became champion of the tournament.[2] She later took part in all three matches of the 2017 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship qualification - Group 10 and Elite round Group 2 as well as 2018 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship qualification - Group 10. She was capped 25 times in total and netted one goal for the national U-19 team.[1]
