Ruslan (Russian: Руслан) is a Russian-Slavic[1] masculine given name used mainly in Russia and in other CIS states. It is also a masculine given name in Indonesia. The name is a Russian variant from the Turkic[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11] word arslan/aslan, which is translated as lion. The name Eruslan is another variant of the form Ruslan.
