Rune Lothe

Rune Lothe (born 20 July 1971) is a Norwegian football coach and former player.

Hailing from Grinde,[1] Lothe started his career in SK Vard Haugesund; and later went to Skjold IL. He joined FK Haugesund in 1995,[2] and enjoyed a spell in the Norwegian Premier League in the seasons 1997 and 1998.[3] He left ahead of the 2000 season to return to Skjold.[4] He later become playing assistant coach at Torvastad IL together with Sjur Jarle Hauge, but as the 2004 season ended with relegation,[5] Lothe was instead hired to coach SK Nord.[4] He remained active as a player.[6] Ahead of the 2008 season Lothe was hired as head coach of Skjold, where he was until the 2010 season. After a short spell as assistant coach for the Norwegian Premier League side FK Haugesund, he is now head coach of the third-division side Kopervik IL in Kopervik
