Route Zero

"Route Zero" is a single from the Norwegian band Turbonegro released on 7" Vinyl in 1989 by Straitjacket Records, bassist Thomas Seltzer's own label. 500 copies were printed on pink vinyl. It came with insert containing photo from rehearsal room. The front sleeve of the original release depicts a scene lifted from a 1982 underground cult movie entitled Basket Case while the back sleeve allows some extra free space for love letters, obscene drawings or further individual messages of whatever kind. The first 50 shrink-wrapped and autographed, custom designed (first edition) copies of Route Zero came with the cassette tape single Computech.

Trivia

  • On the 1990 version: etching on the matrix reads: Side A: "your mom is a whore", Side B: "your dad is a whore".
  • Original drummer TK didn't show up for the recording session, so Thomas took on the drums for "Route Zero".
