Rosa Labordé
Rosa Labordé is a Canadian playwright, screenwriter, director and actress.[1] She is playwright-in-residence at Tarragon Theatre[2] and Aluna Theatre.[3] Her play Léo was shortlisted for the Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding New Play and the Governor General's Award for English-language drama.[4] In 2012 she received the KM Hunter Artist’s Award for Theatre.[5] In 2016 she wrote the first two episodes of the second season of HBO Canada's Sensitive Skin.[6]

Early life
Rosa was born in Ottawa, Ontario to a Chilean mother and Eastern European father and was raised Jewish. She is a graduate of the Oxford School of Drama in England and the Canadian Film Centre in Toronto.
