During the years Room 8 Studio have cooperated with 80+ companies including Carbine Studios (NCSOFT), Gaijin Entertainment, GREE, Wargaming, Rovio, Jam City (ex-SGN), PlayFusion, Outplay Entertainment, Ubisoft, Storm 8, CrowdStar (Glu Mobile), and Nitro Games.

Company history

Room 8 Studio was founded in 2011 with a goal to create high-quality mobile games. Later in 2012 Room 8 Studio received its first round of funding and began its growth.

On February 21, 2013 the first game developed by Room 8 Studio was published [1] - Cyto's Puzzle Adventure and it was featured right off by the App Store in the Best New Games category in 68 countries.

In July 2013 Room 8 Studio released its second game Riot Runners that won “Game in Show - Audience Award” at Casual Connect Kyiv 2013.[2] Riot Runners made its soft launch on Canadian and German App Stores,[3][4] and released globally in February 2014.

On September 24, 2014 the company released the music game Piano City,[5] which was acknowledged by the App Store and listed as #5 in the Best Games of September collection and reached #1 music game rank in 126 countries.[6]

In 2016 Room 8 Studio was working on the new casual music game Little Piano Monsters and continues co-developing several projects in cooperation with interactive entertainment companies.

gollark: YAML has a horrendously complex and incomperehensible spec and many languages' libraries for it parse it insecurely by default.
gollark: Oh, or tagged unions.
gollark: It also doesn't support bytestrings, datetimes, non-string-keyed maps, or anything more complex than objects, arrays, strings, numbers and nulls.
gollark: That's not an actual format. Files with `.conf` extensions contain many different incompatible weird things.
gollark: I prefer TOML for configuration. YAML is really overcomplicated.
