Roman Vojtek

Roman Vojtek (born 14 April 1972) is a Czech actor, television presenter, singer, and entrepreneur.[1]

Early life

Vojtek, a Vsetín native, since age 14 had to take care of himself due to the passing of his parents and sister moving to Bolivia, but found closure in acting, which he pursued actively.[2] In Brno, Vojtek finished acting academy, and later went on to Prague where received a job in the Karlín Theatre as an actor.

Although he is best known as a television actor, he pursued a career in theatre plays and Czech films, but also as a dancer and vocalist.

In 2009, he married longtime girlfriend Teresa, with whom he has 2 children: Edith (born 2009) and Benedict (born 2015).

In 2016, he participated in the widely popular reality show, Tvoje tvář má známý hlas, which is the Czech version of Your Face Sounds Familiar. He placed 5th out of 8 after the finals.
