Roger Woods

Roger Woods (born 1949)[1] is a British contemporary historian and a specialist of 20th-century German history.[2][3]

Life and career

Woods is Emeritus Professor in the Department of German studies at the University of Nottingham.[2][4]

From 2004 to 2006, he was Chairman of the University Council of Modern Languages, and then Provost and CEO of University of Nottingham Ningbo China from 2007 to 2010.[5]

gollark: University: on the one hand you apparently earn a significant amount per year more, yes. But on the other hand, universities involve significant hassle, you're not in the workforce for a while, they may not actually be very effective at teaching massively useful stuff, they're wildly overpriced, and they seem to partly be wasteful "positional goods".
