Rijpwetering

Rijpwetering is a village in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Kaag en Braassem, and lies about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) east of Leiden.

In 2001 the village of Rijpwetering had 913 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.12 kmĀ² and contained 340 residences.[1] The larger statistical area of Rijpwetering has a population of around 1440.[2]
