Career

Ricky formed in Portsmouth, England in the autumn of 2000. The band's first release was a self-funded mini-album, released in January 2002, titled You Set The Scene, named after the last track on Forever Changes, an album by Love. The record gained strong reviews, but the band didn’t realise the commercial success the press attention suggested. In 2005 they had a UK top 40 single, disbanding the following year.

gollark: For all of the design flaws of the human body, it is very... well, optimized, until it hits a local maximum.
gollark: And what DNA to put there, and whether anything will horribly break if you meddle with it.
