History
The park opened in 1995 and was named for its original promoter and builder, Glenn Rhodes. In 2016 the park reopened after a renovation by Grindline Skateparks.[2][3]
Rhodes Park has been featured by ESPN as a pre-qualifier venue for X Games.[4]
In 2018 a skateboarder died from injuries from a fall at Rhodes Park. The cause of death was rhabdomyolysis, blood toxins resulting from muscle tissue deterioration after an injury.[5]

gollark: Go making all loops `for` (WHY DOES IT DO THAT) doesn't make it much simpler, since you still have to *know* all the weird ways to use it and so does the compiler.
gollark: I mean, that's not a thing of *keywords*, just of... more language features, really.
