Rent My Wedding is an online service that provides event rental products. History

The company was launched in December 2011 by Marie Kubin.[1][2][3] Since then, Rent My Wedding has expanded its focus to encompass professional event lighting, DJ equipment, photobooths, linen backdrops, and mobile apps for event planning.[4][5] In March 2017, Rent My Wedding launched a magazine featuring wedding inspiration and advice.[6] [7] The magazine's columnists include experts from the Wedding industry in the United States, including Ron Ben-Israel.[8]

Business Model

Customers can lease Rent My Wedding's equipment for a 5-day rental period. Customers place orders online, and rental items are shipped directly to the customer several days before the event.[9]

Reception

WeddingWire recognized Rent My Wedding as being among the top 5% of wedding vendors in 2013,[10] 2014,[11] 2015,[12],[13] 2016,[14] 2017,[15] and 2018,[16] XO Group's The Knot gave Rent My Wedding their "Best of Weddings" Award in 2015.[17]
