Renatus Media, LLC is an American publisher of social and mobile games founded in the middle of 2012. The company is headquartered in Menlo Park, California, and focusing primarily on publishing games from CIS based game developers on the global market.[1] Renatus forms part of an international group of companies backed by Noosphere Ventures, comprising over 50 businesses.[2]

History

Renatus was established in 2012. The president of Renatus Media, LLC is Mark Watt.[3]

In July 2013, the company reached a milestone of 10 million monthly active users of its casual games.[4]

In August 2013, the company announced launching a line-up of new mid-core games.[5]

In September 2013, Renatus Media, LLC invested in DevGAMM conference dedicated to social, mobile and online games (previously known as FlashGAMM).[6] The new DevGAMM held in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, on 7–8 December 2013 gathered over 1300 visitors and representatives from 370 companies.[7] The second DevGAMM held in Moscow in May 2014 was attended by more than 1200 people.[8]

During October 2013, Renatus increased its audience of hidden object games on Facebook up to 365 000 monthly players.[9]

In July 2014, Renatus first released its game on Yahoo! Mobage, Bubble Magic 3D.[10] The game is also available on Facebook and iOS.

The US-based publisher of social and mobile titles has increased its user base five times: Renatus took off from 10 million monthly active users across Facebook, iOS and Android in late 2013 and raised it up to over 50,000,000 by September 2014.[11]

In 2015 Renatus started a new chapter called game development to explore new prospects of dominating the games market.

Business model

As a game publisher, Renatus cooperates with third-party game development studios, most of them are located in Eastern Europe. At the same time, several projects are developed in-house.

Renatus Media is the marketing partner of Puzzle Dreams. Renatus mainly deals with marketing while Puzzle Dreams is also involved in game development. To provide professional marketing support for its current and future titles, Puzzle Dreams established cooperation with Renatus Media.
