Rena Bizios

Rena Bizios is an American bioengineer currently the Peter Flawn Professor at University of Texas at San Antonio and an Elected Fellow of the National Academy of Medicine. Her current interests are cellular and tissue engineering, biocompability and tissue-biomaterial relationships.[1][2]

Early life and education

Bizios is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst (bachelor in chemical engineering), California Institute of Technology (masters in chemical engineering) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Ph.D. in biomedical engineering).
