Regional hospital
A regional hospital is a hospital that serves a larger area than a local hospital. Regional hospitals sometimes serve specific needs that cannot be adequately met by a local or rural hospital,[1] such as treating ebola[2] or obstetric fistula,[3] or providing elective orthopedic surgery.[4]
