Refuel On the Move

In the United States Army, refuel on the move (ROM), is a logistical action, for sustaining an army while on maneuver. to reach a destination.[1] A ROM for Army vehicles is akin to in-flight refuelling for aircraft or UAVs.[2]:p419

A forward arming and refuelling point (FARP)[3] is a location for a refuel on the move.

A convoy of vehicles on the move will have a pre-planned refuelling point at which each vehicle's fuel can be replenished to the 75% level within 30 seconds.[1]

Sustainment personnel conduct a refuel on the move.[2]:Art.4 The sustainment warfighting function
