Red-tailed Laughingthrush

This species can be found in China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. [1] These birds mainly inhabit the uderstorey of broadleaf evergreen forests,[2]

They are strictly montane, usually living at an elevation of 1,800–2,500 metres (5,900–8,200 ft) above sea level. [4]

Behaviour

This species mainly feed on insects and small arthropods (beetles, centipedes, etc.), but also on berries and fruits (especially of Saurauja species). The breeding season lasts from April to June. The nest is made by both male and female and consists of a tidy cup mailnly made of grasses and bamboo leaves.[2] It is built at about 1 m above the ground level. Females lay 2-3 eggs, that are incubated for 17-18 days. The chicks are fed by both parents and leave the nest in 14-16 days

gollark: This is why it has to run ahead of time, see. Although my code isn't optimal, and also being compiled in debug mode.
gollark: Due to concurrency, this is using all available CPU power.
gollark: Currently, it is able to process a few books per second, by which I mean extract all the text but not parse it.
gollark: It's written in Rust and MODERATELY concurrent.
gollark: Fortunately, EPUB is a structured format, and the library means the amount of XML I touch is reduced.
