Rajaganapathy

Rajaganapathy was born in Melur, Madurai.[1] He learned Carnatic music from the age of three .[2] He became known for appearing on the reality television show Airtel Super Singer.[3]He learnt Carnatic classical music from Age 3 & Won numerous awards from Renowned sabhas & organizations in Chennai.

Airtel Super Singer Journey

Rajaganapathy first appeared on Airtel Super Singer Junior 3 and made it to the Top 18 position. He was selected for Wildcard Public Voting but did not make it to the Grand Finale.

He then appeared on the fifth season of Airtel Super Singer.[4] He was the youngest contestant for the season. He was selected as the direct finalist of the season. He was awarded JUDGES CHOICE WINNER and a ₹10,00,000 cash prize from Vijay Television.[5]

Independent Music

He composed and released a single named "Kadhal Version 1.0" featuring Diwakar.[6] It was released with support of the Divo label.

PLAYBACK SONGS :

He debuted into Tamil cinema industry as a PLAYBACK SINGER at the age of 18.

Music Director D. Imman made an Twitter announcement saying " Glad to introduce Singing talent #Rajaganapathy alongside #NiranjanaRaman for @Thalapathyprabu 's Podhuvaga En Manasu Thangam starring Udhayanidhi Stalin".

Rajaganapathy recorded his first song as a playback singer for music director D. Imman for the movie ''Podhuvaga En Manasu Thangam. However, his voice as a playback singer was first released in the Tamil language movie Semma for a song composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar .
