The race is named in honor of railbirds, the nickname for the fans who line the racetrack's rail early in the morning to watch the workouts.[1]

The Railbird Stakes is a prep for Grade II Hollywood Oaks.

Notes

gollark: `::`-delineated namespaces forever!
gollark: * Rust
gollark: Haskell 2020 should make imports less evil, yes.
gollark: Namespacing... well, we'd use it to produce more *modular* code, so maybe "modules" is a good name?
gollark: `pure` is anyway.
