Career

In the 2000s, McTavish worked for Five News, ITV London and most notably ITN, where she anchored rolling news coverage of 9/11 on the ITV News Channel. On 28 April 2008, she joined STV's regional magazine programme The Five Thirty Show, replacing Debi Edward – first as a stand-in and then, permanently when Edward joined ITV News. McTavish went on to co-host the show until 15 May 2009.[1] The programme was axed and replaced by an hour-long programme entitled The Hour. McTavish continues to work for STV News, including as co-presenter on its main news programme STV News At Six, and has also done continuity announcements for the channel.

gollark: Just because something is *what evolution "wants"* or whatever doesn't mean it's actually a good thing in *other sets of values*.
