Development
The game was announced on July 8, 2019. A trailer for the game was released the same day.[1]
On May 11, 2020, downloadable content was released, called the "Surprise Track Pack". A special edition, called the "Road Trip Deluxe Edition", was announced the same day and will be released sometime in October 2020.[2]

On Metacritic, the Nintendo Switch version of Race With Ryan received an average score of 51% based on four reviews, indicating "mixed or average" reviews.[3]
