Function
The protein encoded by this intronless gene contains a C3HC5 type of RING finger, a motif known to be involved in protein-DNA and protein-protein interactions. The expression of this gene was found to be upregulated in cancer cell lines derived from different types of cancer. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].
gollark: Formatting does belong in the client, sure, except there's not really much of a way to get people to actually standardize on one.
gollark: But I think the biggest issue is not having message history.
gollark: I like at least having italicization work.
gollark: Like the not very intuitive permissions model, needing you to run a bouncer or something if you want message history, and lack of (generally available) text formatting or file uploads.
gollark: IRC has some problematic flaws.
