Quercus obovatifolia is an Asian species of trees and shrubs in the beech family. It is native to southern China (Fujian, Guangdong, Hunan).[2]

Quercus obovatifolia is a shrub or tree up to 12 meters tall. Leaves can be as much as 9 cm long.[2]
