Qisas (disambiguation)
Qisas or qasas is a common romanization of two different Arabic words: 1) qiṣaṣ (Arabic: قصص), narrative, story (plural of qiṣṣa); and 2) qiṣāṣ (Arabic: قصاص), retaliation, punishment or settlement of accounts.[1] It may refer to any of the following:
Islam
- Al-Qaṣaṣ - the 28th chapter of the Qu'ran, which takes its name from the word for "narrative"
- Qisas - the concept of retribution in Islamic law
- Qisas Al-Anbiya - any of various collections of stories adapted from the Quran and other Islamic literature
