Product & Technology

Pyramid v2020 is a server-based, multi-user analytics and business intelligence (ABI) platform that supports self-service and augmented analytic workflows across six (6) modules.

Model – With the Model module, users can prep data, integrate machine learning, and build data models. The graphically based environment is designed so everyday users can fix, condition, and improve basic and blended datasets without IT help. With it, users can define master flows with conditional steps, loop routines and messaging, set triggers within Pyramid to launch outside apps and internal schedules, and even create multiple models in a single data flow.[23]

Discover – With the Discover module, users can interact with models and explore data. Discover comes in three modes—Discover Pro, Smart Discover, and Discover Lite—to adapt to user needs and skill.[24]

Formulate – With the Formulate module, users can formulate and share custom expressions, lists, KPIs, parameters, scripts, and custom columns.

Illustrate – With the Illustrate module, users can create and share data-driven graphics, text, and infographics for presentations and publications.

Present – With the Present module, users can design presentations and analytic applications.

Publish – With the Publish module, users can create dynamic narrative reports and securely share them throughout their organization.

In addition, Pyramid v2020 is designed with centralized security and full scalability.[18][25] It can be deployed in any scenario (on-premises, in the cloud, or across a hybrid environment) on any technology platform (including SAP BW and HANA). It features augmented capabilities that enable end users to conduct advanced analytics and data science without IT help in a governed environment.[26]
