Puyallup School District

Puyallup School District is a school district that supports the City of Puyallup, Washington and its surrounding areas. Organized in 1854, the Puyallup School District was the third school district formed in the state of Washington.[1] It is the 8th largest school district in Washington. The District has twenty-one elementary schools, seven junior high schools, three senior high schools and an alternative school, together which serve over 22,000 students. The district employs more than 1,250 certificated, 1,400 classified staff, and 850 substitute personnel.

The current superintendent, Dr. Tim Yeomans is retiring on August 2020. His Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Vince Pecchia is assuming responsibilities for the interim.[2] Dr. John Polm is the succeeding superintendent.
