Purple haze (cocktail)

A purple haze is a cocktail with vodka, fruit liqueur, and sometimes a splash of soda. A purple color can be obtained by adding, e.g., a raspberry liqueur (e.g. black raspberry) to cranberry juice, to make a variation of a Cape Codder, to which ginger ale can also be added. Difford's Guide describes the purple haze as a "sweet and sour shot with a sweet, berry base."[1]

Variations

Other variations include the lemonade purple haze, purple haze martini, and purple haze shooters.[2] Absolut's recipe calls for the use of lime juice and simple syrup. The Cocktail Project calls for the use of grape schnapps, vodka, sour mix, lemon-lime soda, and grenadine.[3]

gollark: Oh, for digit systems.
gollark: What do you mean "most expressive"? You can trivially convert logarithms between bases using the formula.
gollark: I am *also* dissatisfied with every programming language ever. It's quite annoying.
gollark: I "would" use APL if it could be typed and also if there was a good FOSS implementation.
gollark: It does it with magic async stuff internally I believe.
