PuppetFest Midwest

PuppetFest Midwest was an annual, four-day puppetry festival with the distinction of being an independent conference put together and funded by puppeteers. The festival occurred annually for 10 years, from 2003 to 2012. This workshop was designed to be a small and intimate experience for attendees that would encourage, inspire, and train them to develop their skills and techniques to demonstrate good puppet theatre. PuppetFest Midwest featured a variety of workshops by professional puppeteers, world-class performances, and exhibits.

Location

PuppetFest Midwest was located on the campus of North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Missouri and also at the Grundy County Jewett Norris Library in Trenton.

The festival ended after 2012.[1]
