Punjab Mass Transit Authority
The Punjab Masstransit Authority (Urdu: پنجاب عوامی نقل و حمل اختیار, abbreviated as PMA) is a public authority in Punjab province of Pakistan that operates public transportation in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan. Punjab Masstransit Authority is a statutory body established by the Government of Punjab with the purpose of planning, construction, operation and maintenance of mass transit systems in the major cities of the Punjab.[1] Set up in 2012, the authority is tasked with providing safe, efficient and comfortable urban transportation systems in the province.[2]
