Ptychoglene phrada

Ptychoglene phrada is a moth in the subfamily Arctiinae. It was described by Herbert Druce in 1889. It is found in Arizona[1] and Mexico.[2]

The wingspan is about 30 mm. The forewings are red with a black terminal and subterminal area. The hindwings are mostly black with a red patch in the basal area near the margin.[3]
