Ptilothyris serangota
Ptilothyris serangota is a moth in the family Lecithoceridae. It was described by Meyrick in 1932. It is found in the Democratic Republic of Congo (North Kivu, Equateur) and Uganda.[1][2]

The wingspan is 20–22 mm. The forewings are deep fuscous-purple and the hindwings are blackish with a subhyaline grey-whitish or yellow band extending through the disc from the base to near the apex, cut by blackish veins.[3]
The larvae feed on Hibiscus species.
