Prunus brasiliensis

Prunus brasiliensis is a species of tree in the family Rosaceae. It is native to Brazil and northeastern Argentina.[1][2][3]

Description

Prunus brasiliensis is a tree up to 20 m tall and 50 cm dbh, with a straight or slightly irregular trunk.[4] The small white flowers are arranged in axillary racemes 2-10 cm long; petals up to 15 mm long.[4]

Distribution and habitat

Prunus brasiliensis occurs in Brazil and northwestern Argentina, in forests up to 500 m. of elevation.[2][4]
