Preben Bang Henriksen

Preben Bang Henriksen (born 11 February 1954 in Nørresundby) is a Danish barrister and member of Parliament of Venstre, the Liberal Party, since 15 September 2011. He is chairman of the parliamentary Legal Affairs Committee and member of the Business, Growth and Export Committee and the Scrutineers’ Committee.

He graduated as master of law from Aarhus University in 1979, became a solicitor in 1982, gained the right to appear before the High Court from 1982 and right to appear before the Supreme Court from 1986.

He has authored (titles in translation) 'Main Elements of Business Lease Law', 1990, 'Business Lease Law', 1997, 'The School Lease', 1999, and 'Business Leases – Rights and Duties in Accordance with the New Business Lease Law', 2008, as well as various articles on property transactions and tenancy law in Ugeskrift for Retsvæsen (Journal of the Judicial System) and Tidsskrift for Bolig- og Byggeret (Periodical for Housing and Building Law).
