Population Media Center (PMC) is an international non-profit organization, founded in 1998 by Bill Ryerson and headquartered in South Burlington, Vermont, United States.

The organization's vision statement is "A sustainable planet with equal rights for all."

The organization's mission is "To use entertainment-education and mass media to promote social and cultural change by addressing the interconnected issues of the full rights of women and girls, population, and the environment. Our goals are to empower people to live healthier and more prosperous lives and to stabilize global population at a level at which people can live sustainably with the world’s renewable resources."

The organization creates theory-driven entertainment products and supporting campaigns, which are based on its particular theory of change and entertainment methodology. Both are rooted in Miguel Sabido's original Entertainment-Education approach.[1] PMC works to change attitudes, behaviors, knowledge and social norms related to the organization's mission and other applicable social and health needs of the audiences consuming the entertainment. The methodology has been scientifically shown to lead to at-scale behavior change in many countries where it has been implemented, and was spread widely by former PMC board member and advisor David Poindexter.
