Career

Parthiban had worked as an assistant director to Hari.[1] He made his debut as a screenplay writer with Radha Mohan's Uppu Karuvaadu (2015). A reviewer of the film wrote that "Pon Parthiepan’s tongue-in-cheek dialogues provide a wholesome entertainer".[2] He collaborated again with Mohan for Brindavanam (2017). In a review of the film by Sify, the reviewer wrote that "Pon Parthiban’s dialogues has been a great value addition to Radha Mohan’s films and Brindhavanam is yet another gem from the director-writer combination".[3] He co-wrote the screenplay for Kaithi (2019) with Lokesh Kanagaraj after the intensity of the project increased. Parthiban wrote the screenplay for P. S. Mithran's Hero, which released later that year. He collaborated with Kanagaraj again for Master.[1][4]
