Pisagua case

The Pisagua Case is the name given to the legal actions taken surrounding the crimes that occurred in the torture center and prison camp installed in the town of Pisagua, during the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet in Chile.

History

Fosa de Pisagua

The judicial investigation began prior to the claim of illegal burial presented by the Vicariate of Solidarity, 31 May 1990 in the Pozo Almonte Court.[1]

On 2 June 1990 the mass grave was found,[2] located in the north-west sector of the Pisagua Cemetery. Twenty bodies were discovered within the grave, well-preserved due to the salt that permeates the sand in the area.[1]

List of prisoners executed in Pisagua

The majority of the executed were found in 1990 during an investigation led by Minister Hernán Sánchez Marré.[3]

gollark: I think a useful component of AGI would be being able to efficiently offload subtasks to specialised algorithms instead of just doing them inefficiently in neural networks, but I have no idea if this is very practical or anyone's doing it.
gollark: There are tons of non-learning algorithms which are good for logical reasoning. The fuzzier stuff which humans do easily seems to be what's harder to implement.
gollark: Just encode data in otherwise irrelevant details of the text which tokenisers remove/ignore.
gollark: It should randomly use a generated goose or actual goose and see how often people can tell the difference.
gollark: Someone should make the command more efficient by checking the goose's direction for you, automatically.
