Phylace (Arcadia)

Phylace or Phylake (Ancient Greek: Φυλακή, Phylakē) was a town of ancient Arcadia, upon the frontiers of Tegea and Laconia, where the Alpheius rises.[1]

Its site is located west of the modern Vourvoura.[2][3]
