Phtheochroa canariana is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae first described by William Barnes and August Busck in 1920. It is found in the United States, where it has been recorded from Arizona.

It is often listed as a synonym of Phtheochroa fulviplicana.
gollark: So good enough, really. Making viruses spread is hard. I guess it could detect USB sticks or (if it was smaller) somehow append itself to executables you compile.
gollark: But it slightly hides itself and runs automatically and runs commands I send and whatnot.
gollark: Also, the tool I use to compile it to a binary isn't very good.
gollark: And doesn't actually spread.
gollark: It's not very reliable or stealthy mind you.
