Bowls career

Nolan partnered Margaret Johnston in a very successful pairs team and they won three consecutive World Outdoor Bowls Championships gold medals.[2] The three world titles came at the 1988 World Outdoor Bowls Championship, 1992 World Outdoor Bowls Championship and the 1996 World Outdoor Bowls Championship.

She also won the British Isles Bowls Championships singles title three times in 1992, 1993 and 2005, a record only bettered by fellow Irish bowler Margaret Johnston[3] and won the 2014 triples title at the Irish National Bowls Championships bowling for the Blackrock Bowls Club.[4]

gollark: I want to add full text search to minoteaur, as it would be very not good without that. However, it needs to store an uncompressed copy of stuff to provide many FTS features, which means I would either end up being MILDLY INEFFICIENT and storing revision data twice, or have somewhat more code to avoid duplicate datoids.

gollark: Oh dear. I have encountered a horrible dilemma.
gollark: I see.
gollark: Relative addresses (?) everywhere?
