Phaulernis dentella is a moth of the family Epermeniidae. It is found in central and eastern Europe, the Caucasus and western Siberia.[2]

The wingspan is 9–10 mm. There is one generation per year with adults on wing in June.[3]

The larvae feed on the seeds of Pimpinella saxifraga, Chaerophyllum bulbosum, Chaerophyllum temulum, Aegopodium podagraria and Angelica silvestris. The larvae are yellowish with a dark brown head. They live within spun together seeds. Larvae can be found from July to August. The species overwinters in the pupal stage within a pupa made underground.
