Peter O'Brien (filmmaker)
Peter James O'Brien (born October 11, 1983) is an independent filmmaker and author from Congers, NY. He is best known for directing, producing, and editing the thrash metal documentary, "Riphouse 151: Could've Been's & Wanna Be's."
Biography
Peter O'Brien has been involved in the visual and performing arts for many years. He started out in High School taking video and theater courses, and pursued both on a personal level outside of school. In the winter of 2008 he graduated from SUNY Purchase with a degree in Creative Writing. He has worked on short films and features alike, crossing several genres including horror, documentary, comedy, and concert footage. In addition to all this he has performed with bands and on his own for several years.
