Peter Madden (solicitor)

Peter Madden is a Belfast solicitor. He is a member of the Law Society Council and chairman of the Criminal Law Committee. He is also a member of the Access to Justice Committee and an executive member of the Solicitor's Criminal Bar Association which recently appointed Peter as one of the coordinators in the Association's Legal Aid Coordinating Group[1] .

Madden is the Managing Partner in Madden & Finucane.[2]

Background

Peter Madden headed up the Legal Team which represented the majority of the deceased and wounded at the Bloody Sunday Inquiry.[3] He was nominated as Human Rights Lawyer of the Year 2000 by Liberty/Justice.
