Peter Bainbridge (photographer)
Peter Bainbridge (born 1957 Melbourne) is an Australian fashion photographer.[1] He was a clothes designer and fashion Illustrator in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He exhibited his clothes and knitwear together with Rose Borg at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and in other countries including America and Japan. He was commissioned by the National Gallery in Canberra and the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney for their permanent collections.[2] Peter started shooting fashion in 1994, and owned and operated Bluefish Hire Studio in Darlinghurst together with Rose Borg.[3] His photographic work has been published in Australian and German Vogue. He studied photochemistry for six years and still shoots film on 6x6 and 4x5. During 2005 to 2009 he formulated an online publishing venture with three colleagues.
