Pawon Ramesh

Pawon Ramesh is an Indian actor who works in Telugu-language stage plays and films. He appeared in various short films, theatre plays, web series and film, He has also won the Best Actor award at Meraki Film Festival for Arcotia (short film). Before his break on single screen, Pawon garnered himself a following with web series Nirudyoga Natulu.

Early life and career

Born in Buchireddypalem, Nellore. Pawon finished his schooling locally and moved to Hyderabad where he would search for a job as an animator, however after his university professor took him to theatre, he developed a keen interest in acting and he participated in his first play at Ravindra Bharathi.[1] He continued playing parts at theatre until his breakthrough for the short film, Arcotia (2017). Pawon subsequently went on to work in films garnering recognition for his acting in Nirudyoga Natulu as one of the leads,[2] and in a prominent character of Dastagiri in George Reddy (2019).[1][3]

In early 2020, Pawon appeared in Gangaraju ki Sorry Cheppu[4] a 1 hour 20 minutes, single-shot[5] film directed by Manusuri, along with an ensemble of 17 artists along with Priyadarshi and Abhay Bethiganti.[6]
